No. Every piece arrives flat in one box with a hex key and printed instructions. Assembly takes about 15 to 50 minutes depending on the piece; each product page gives the time. The Wall Ledge also needs fixing to a wall, and the fixings depend on your wall, so they are not included.

It is not solid wood. Birch plywood is made of thin birch veneers glued in layers with the grain crossed, which keeps it flat and stable. We finish it with a clear matt lacquer and leave the layered edge visible. Care & Materials explains how to look after it.

As close as we can make them, but screens differ and birch varies from sheet to sheet, so no two pieces have exactly the same grain. The cobalt, graphite and chalk powder-coat colours are consistent between batches.

We ship to the United States and to most other countries. US orders pay a flat $29 per order, and US orders of $400 or more ship free. Orders to the rest of the world pay a flat $59 per order. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay. Full details are in the Shipping policy.

We aim to dispatch within 3 to 5 business days. Tracked delivery then usually takes 7 to 12 business days in the US and 10 to 20 business days elsewhere. These are estimates, not guarantees; you get a tracking number when your order ships.

Possibly. Some countries, including the United States, can charge duties or taxes when a parcel arrives. They are set by the destination country, are not included in our prices, and if they apply the carrier collects them from you on delivery. Please check your country's rules before ordering.

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if the piece is undamaged and all parts are included. You pay the return shipping unless the piece arrived damaged or with a fault. The Refund policy has the steps.

Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the damage or the parts list. We will send the replacement part or piece at no cost to you.

Each piece is designed for bedside use: a lamp, books, a glass of water, a phone. None of them is a seat or a step, including the Round Stool Table, whose name describes its shape.
